Zara King, winner of DIP 2022, at Brightworks for placement

Our 2022 winner, Zara King, took a week before the new term at Teesside University to help

with designing and development at, Brightworks, a multi award winning new product design

and development consulting company.

Brightworks, which is a valued sponsor of DIP, gave Zara the chance to pitch in and

contribute some useful designs and ideas to live design projects.

Brightworks managing director, Graeme Paterson, said: “We very much valued Zara’s input

and her company for the week, and think she found it useful too. It was an absolute

pleasure having her, and we thank everyone involved with DIP who helped to make this

placement possible.”

Zara is now back at Teesside at the start of her third year as a product designer.
